Wedding Cake And Champagne Flutes On Table

MODERN JEWISH COUPLES

you don’t have to be Jewish to be part of a Jewish family

From religion to money, from politics to family, planning for a life together gets buried under endless wedding planning logistics and stress. Modern JewISH Couples supports you and your partner in the transition to married life, transforming your wedding preparation process from planning an event to investing time in planning for your future. For those modern Jewish couples who are already married and are preparing for another life event – welcoming new life (furry or human), a career or location move, and more – these conversations are vital for these life transitions, too.

OUR MISSION

Modern JewISH Couples (MJC) supports committed couples on the pathway to partnership, marriage, and beyond.

A Jewish learning project that guides partners to explore Judaism in their lives, MJC expands the boundaries and barriers of Judaism to be inclusive of those who identify as interfaith, intercultural, multiethnic, queer, atheist, or agnostic, Jewish&, spiritual but not religious, Just Jewish, and more. Our work lifts up the relevance, beauty, and accessibility of Judaism as a blueprint for building and strengthening loving, enduring relationships and Jewish communal connection.
