About the Event
Gather with Rabbi Monica Kleinman for this peer group for Jews-by-Choice. Perhaps you are the only Jewish adult in your family, discovered you had Jewish heritage and affirmed your Judaism through conversion, or were inspired to become Jewish because of a loved one. The process of building your Jewish life is ongoing; it can be powerful to be in conversation with others who have charted this same path.
September: What They Didn’t Teach You in Conversion Class
Join Rabbi Monica Kleinman for a discussion and peer sharing about all of those things you wish you had learned on your way to becoming Jewish! We’ll talk synagogue etiquette, what to make for a seder dinner, and how to follow along in services!
October: Determining Authenticity: Making Your Jewish Life Your Own
Join Rabbi Monica Kleinman in a workshop on how we can each determine our own Jewish practice and outlook. We will talk through a variety of ways to express our Jewishness, and you’ll come away with some essential questions to help guide your own practice.
November & December: Determined by the group
